The Role
- Provide high-quality preventive care, internal medicine, and general surgery for small animals
- Perform dental procedures, including prophylaxis and dental radiographic assessment
- Utilize on-site diagnostics (radiology, EKG, laboratory) to guide treatment plans
- Manage anesthesia and perioperative care in the surgical suite
- Oversee hospitalized cases with access to intensive-care support and an isolation ward
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients to ensure understanding of diagnostics, treatment options, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with experienced technicians and support staff; referral to board-certified specialists when clinically indicated
- Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented environment with participation in a rotating weekend schedule

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to high standards of care
- Comfortable with, or eager to grow in, general surgery and dentistry
- Ability to participate in a rotating weekend schedule aligned with seven-day operations
