The Role
- Provide high-quality preventive and internal medicine for small animals
- Perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry; orthopedic cases available based on interest and experience
- Utilize ultrasound and dental radiography to support diagnostics and case management
- Manage anesthesia and pain control with established protocols
- Build strong client relationships through clear communication and education
- Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff to ensure efficient, patient-centered care
- Participate in rehabilitation services and community outreach initiatives as desired
- Contribute to a rotating Saturday schedule; maintain thorough, accurate medical records
- Uphold AAHA-aligned standards for safety, quality and compliance

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Texas (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Comfort with general surgery and dentistry, or willingness to develop these skills with mentorship
