Clinical scope spans preventive care, dentistry with dental imaging, soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures, internal medicine, intensive care and hospitalization. Additional support includes an in-house pharmacy, isolation ward, oxygen and transfusion therapy, and video otoscopy. The practice also provides climate-controlled boarding with daily exercise programs and follows structured referral pathways for specialty and emergency cases. The Role
- Provide full-spectrum small animal general practice care, including wellness, sick visits, and preventive medicine
- Perform dentistry with dental imaging, soft-tissue surgery, and selected orthopedic procedures as appropriate to experience
- Utilize on-site diagnostics (radiology, ultrasound, in-house lab, EKG, endoscopy) to drive timely, evidence-based decisions
- Manage hospitalized and intensive care patients with support from trained technical staff
- Collaborate with referral partners for specialty and emergency cases as needed
- Communicate clearly with clients, creating tailored treatment plans and proactive follow-up
- Participate in quality improvement, case rounds, and mentorship of colleagues and support staff
- Daytime schedule with rotating Saturday coverage; no Sunday shifts

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in South Carolina (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical communication skills and a team-first approach
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
