The Role
- Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and emergency care for small animals in a 24-7 hospital
- Triage and stabilize urgent and emergent cases, manage ICU patients, and coordinate follow-up care
- Perform soft tissue procedures, with opportunities for minimally invasive techniques where appropriate
- Utilize on-site imaging and diagnostics to develop timely, evidence-based treatment plans
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about diagnostic findings, treatment options, and patient progress
- Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent)
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Alabama, or eligibility to obtain
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent client communication, and a team-oriented mindset
- Experience with emergency or high-acuity cases is welcome; confident new graduates are encouraged to apply
