The clinical scope spans wellness and preventive care, dentistry, routine soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, and pain management, offering a varied caseload and opportunities to refine a broad range of skills. Operations run on weekday daytime hours, with no weekend schedule, and the hospital is active in community partnerships with local animal-welfare organizations.

The Role
- Deliver high-quality primary care across wellness, preventive medicine, sick visits, and day-time urgent cases
- Perform and interpret diagnostics, including radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, EKG, and in-house lab testing
- Conduct routine soft-tissue surgeries and dentistry, following established anesthesia and patient-safety protocols
- Create individualized treatment plans and communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
- Partner closely with RVTs and support staff, maintaining AAHA-level medical documentation and standards
- Contribute to a positive, teaching-focused culture; mentorship is available for developing clinicians
- Schedule: full-time, weekday daytime shifts with no overnight or weekend coverage

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration eligibility
- Strong clinical communication, teamwork, and commitment to high standards of care
- Experience with routine surgery and dentistry preferred; all experience levels considered
