The Hospital
This long-established, AAHA-accredited small-animal hospital has supported the local community for more than 20 years. The team is known for a calm, compassionate approach and a close-knit, client-focused culture. Clinical resources include on-site imaging (digital radiography, ultrasound, echocardiography), a dedicated dental suite with dental imaging, an in-house surgical suite for soft-tissue and routine procedures, and hospitalization facilities for post-op or sick patients. The organized support structure features veterinarians, registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, client-service staff, and management to keep the day running smoothly. The hospital partners with pet-insurance and financing options and offers language-support services to make care accessible. Typical client hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am-6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am-2:00 pm (closed Sundays).

The Role
- Deliver high-quality care for dogs and cats across wellness, preventive medicine, and internal medicine
- Utilize on-site imaging (digital radiography, ultrasound, echocardiography) for timely case workups
- Perform dentistry with dental imaging and routine soft-tissue surgery in a well-equipped surgical suite
- Communicate clearly with clients, create treatment plans, and maintain thorough medical records
- Collaborate closely with RVTs, assistants, and client-service teams to ensure efficient, compassionate care
- Contribute to AAHA-level protocols and low-stress handling standards
- Schedule aligns with hospital hours, including a shared Saturday rotation; no Sunday hours

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active Colorado veterinary license (or ability to obtain before start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license or eligibility to obtain
- Strong clinical communication skills and commitment to AAHA-level standards
- Comfort with routine surgery and dentistry preferred
