The Role
- Provide small-animal general practice care with a focus on wellness, prevention, and client education
- Perform dentistry supported by dental radiography; manage cleanings, periodontal care, and extractions as appropriate
- Conduct soft-tissue surgeries (e.g., spay/neuter, mass removals) with the opportunity to expand surgical skills
- Triage and manage urgent care cases during clinic hours, coordinating with external ER partners when needed
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, and ultrasound to work up cases efficiently
- Collaborate closely with RVTs and support staff; mentor and be mentored in a team-oriented setting
- Maintain thorough medical records and contribute to quality-improvement and standards-based protocols

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach
- Surgical and dental proficiency or a commitment to developing these skills
