A privately owned small animal hospital in Krugerville, TX is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and supportive team.

Clinical Role

The role can be tailored around your experience, strengths and clinical interests.

You may be involved in:

• Wellness and preventative medicine
• 30-minute consultations
• Internal medicine
• Diagnostics and treatment planning
• Client education and communication
• Personalised, Fear Free patient care
• Routine soft-tissue surgery, if desired

Prefer a primarily non-surgical role?

Surgery is optional, allowing you to focus primarily on consultations, preventative medicine and internal medicine if that better suits your interests.

There is also the opportunity to see exotic patients for veterinarians with an interest, although this is completely optional.

With approximately 3.5 technicians per veterinarian, you'll have strong clinical support and can focus on patient care and client communication.

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

• 4 × 10-hour shifts
• 40-hour workweek
• 8:00 AM6:00 PM
• 1-hour lunch break
• Alternate Saturdays
• Weekday off when working a Saturday
• Never more than 4 working days per week

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
• Texas license or eligibility for licensure
• Ideally 2+ years of small animal clinical experience
• Confidence managing 30-minute consultations
• Ability to work independently when required
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to personalised, high-quality patient care
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach

Previous Fear Free experience or an interest in exotic animal medicine is welcomed but not required.
