The Hospital
This full-service daytime practice provides wellness, preventative care, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and urgent care during regular hours. The environment is relaxed, organized, and client-focused, with an experienced team of veterinarians, technicians, and client-service professionals.
- Full-service scope: wellness and preventative care, dentistry with dental radiography, general radiography, routine surgery, and daytime urgent care
- On-site support: in-house laboratory and in-house pharmacy for efficient case management
- Imaging and tools: ultrasound, endoscopy, general and dental radiography, and ECG capability
- Surgical readiness: surgical suite with anesthesia and monitoring protocols and pre-op testing as indicated

The Role
- Perform comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and medical work-ups
- Provide client communication and education that supports informed decision-making
- Conduct routine surgeries and dental procedures with appropriate pre-op testing and monitoring
- Interpret imaging and laboratory results, formulate treatment plans, and manage follow-up care
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with technicians and support staff to deliver efficient, high-quality care
- Participate in case rounds and help evaluate and refine clinical protocols
- Contribute to a positive, team-first culture and assist with practice improvements as needed

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Current license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in California
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills with a commitment to high standards of care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds
