The Hospital

The Role
- Perform comprehensive exams, diagnostics, and medical workups for small animals (and select exotics)
- Provide client communication and education that fosters trust and long-term relationships
- Conduct general surgery and dentistry as scheduled and aligned with interests/skills
- Interpret imaging and lab results, formulate treatment plans, and manage follow-up care
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold medication and controlled-substance protocols
- Participate in daily huddles and collaborate closely with technicians and support staff
- Follow established anesthesia, surgical, and patient-monitoring protocols to ensure safety and quality
- Contribute to process improvements and a positive, team-first hospital culture

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary program
- Active license (or ability to obtain) to practice veterinary medicine in Washington
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice preferred; strong clinical and communication skills
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality care and effective teamwork
