The Hospital
- Full-service small-animal practice providing preventive care, dentistry, internal medicine, surgery, and same-day urgent care during clinic hours

- On-site diagnostics, including in-house laboratory and imaging such as ultrasound, digital radiography, and dental x-rays
- Therapeutic options include non-invasive cold laser therapy

- Open six days per week with Saturday appointments

The Role
- Perform comprehensive exams, workups, and general practice medicine for canine and feline patients
- Communicate clearly with clients about diagnostics, treatment options, and care plans
- Conduct diagnostic procedures and perform soft tissue surgery and dentistry, if desired
- Maintain accurate, compliant medical records and controlled substance documentation
- Collaborate with the care team to support efficient, high-quality patient flow
- Partner with hospital leadership on daily priorities, protocols, and quality standards
- Monitor hospitalized cases and participate in rounds when scheduled
- Engage in practice updates and ongoing training as part of a continuous improvement mindset

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active license to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a veterinary setting preferred
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills; surgical and dental skills a plus
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties that may require bending or kneeling
