The Role
- Perform comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and medical work-ups
- Communicate clearly with clients and provide education on treatment plans
- Interpret in-house lab work and imaging; perform diagnostic procedures
- Conduct surgery and dentistry as desired
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and follow controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and hospital leadership to support high standards of care
- Participate in daily rounds when applicable and help optimize hospital workflows
- Support daytime urgent care cases and ensure continuity of care
- Contribute to a positive team environment and efficient, patient-centered operations

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills; surgical and dental skills welcomed
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Authorization to work in the United States
