The Role
- Oversee day-to-day hospital operations and partner with medical leadership to align culture, quality, and client service standards
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing support team; manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance feedback
- Create staffing models and schedules; ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll approvals
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and KPIs; support revenue growth through effective fee capture and service mix
- Lead client service excellence and handle escalations with professionalism and empathy
- Direct inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships; ensure cost control and reliable supply levels
- Maintain facility standards, safety, and compliance with applicable regulations and policies
- Optimize workflows, SOPs, and technology adoption to improve efficiency and patient care
- Support weekend coverage as needed and model a solutions-focused, collaborative leadership style

Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- At least five years of office or operations management experience, including two or more years in a supervisory role
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn hospital software
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Comfort working in a clinical environment and around animals; ability to meet the physical demands of a busy hospital
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Alabama (if DVM-credentialed); not required for this non-clinical role
