The Role
- Perform comprehensive examinations, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and communicate clearly with pet owners
- Carry out routine spay and neuter procedures
- Conduct soft-tissue surgeries such as wound management, mass removals, cystotomy, and hernia repairs
- Provide dentistry, including scaling, polishing, and extractions when indicated
- Plan anesthesia, analgesia, and pre- and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate, thorough medical records and collaborate across the care team
- Support the development of veterinary students and veterinary technicians through day-to-day coaching and mentorship
- Contribute to a positive, solutions-focused culture and assist with occasional same-day or walk-in cases as needed

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- License to practice (or eligibility for licensure) with the regulatory authority in British Columbia
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Competence in routine surgery and dentistry; commitment to continuous learning
- Strong communication skills with a client-centered, compassionate approach
