The Role
Lead hospital operations to deliver excellent patient care and client service while achieving business goals.
- Recruit, onboard, schedule, and mentor support staff; build a culture of trust, teamwork, and accountability
- Oversee client service standards and resolve escalated client concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Manage budgeting, revenue review, and cost controls; ensure accurate daily financials and local accounting
- Direct inventory, purchasing, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance
- Ensure accurate charge capture and billing practices; handle local vendor invoicing and documentation
- Support compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations
- Partner with veterinarians and leads to optimize workflow, quality, and team development
- Maintain accurate records, incident reporting, and performance reviews; drive continual process improvement
- Comfortable working around animals and in clinical environments; able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered
- At least 5 years of office or operations management experience, including 2+ years of supervisory responsibilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice-management systems
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work some weekends or holidays if business needs arise
- Comfortable in a veterinary setting with exposure to cleaning chemicals and zoonotic risks
- If applicable, current professional licensure or certifications in Mississippi
- Valid driver’s license may be required for occasional off-site errands or vendor coordination
