Veterinarian

Global Talent Partners is excited to present an opportunity for a Veterinarian to join a recently renovated small animal hospital in Dalton, Georgia.

Offering a salary of up to $140,000 plus a sign-on bonus of up to $35,000, this is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced, well-supported team with modern facilities, a strong technician-to-doctor ratio and a genuine focus on professional development. New graduates and early-career veterinarians are particularly encouraged to apply, with structured mentorship and hands-on clinical guidance available.

About the Practice

This established, full-service small animal hospital has recently undergone significant renovations, creating a modern and thoughtfully designed environment for both the veterinary team and its patients.
The hospital features multiple spacious examination rooms, an open treatment area and dedicated surgical and dental suites, providing veterinarians with the space and resources needed to manage cases efficiently.

Clinical services include:
•Wellness and preventative medicine
•Routine examinations and vaccinations
•Internal medicine
•Dentistry
•General surgery
•Medical diagnostics
•In-house laboratory testing
•Sick-patient appointments
•Management and guidance for urgent cases
•Client education and preventative healthcare planning

The hospital is supported by an experienced and tenured team, with approximately a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio. This strong level of support allows veterinarians to concentrate on practicing medicine while working closely with skilled team members throughout appointments, procedures and patient care.

Doctors have access to on-site diagnostic capabilities and a well-equipped laboratory for efficient case workups. Dedicated surgical facilities include modern anesthesia and patient-monitoring equipment alongside a broad range of surgical instrumentation.
The dedicated dental suite is equipped with a high-speed dental unit, supporting comprehensive dental procedures and allowing doctors to develop their skills across an important area of companion animal medicine.
Organized practice leadership and an experienced support team help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, while online appointment scheduling, client education resources and financing options help create a streamlined experience for pet owners.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time small animal general practice position offering exposure to preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, diagnostics and general surgery.

One of the major strengths of this opportunity is the hospital's approach to mentorship and veterinarian development.
New graduates aren't expected to immediately manage a full independent caseload. Instead, the practice offers a structured mentorship program with on-site guidance, progressive skill development and a gradual transition toward greater clinical independence.
Mentorship can be tailored around individual development goals, giving early-career veterinarians the opportunity to build confidence in areas such as case management, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics and client communication.

More experienced veterinarians can benefit from the established support structure, modern facilities and collaborative working environment while maintaining the autonomy to practice high-quality medicine.
Scheduling is flexible, with predominantly weekday hours and extended availability on select days, helping provide a healthy balance between career development and life outside of work.
