The Role
- Lead and mentor all hospital support teams to foster trust, accountability, and teamwork
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews for support staff
- Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and labor goals to ensure efficient coverage
- Partner with the veterinarian to drive revenue growth while managing costs and budgets
- Oversee daily operations, client service standards, and resolution of escalated client concerns
- Manage local accounting functions, billing accuracy, cash controls, and vendor invoicing
- Oversee inventory, purchasing, and facility maintenance for smooth, safe operations
- Maintain policy and procedure documentation and support compliance requirements
- Track key performance metrics and collaborate with regional leadership on goals
- Ensure a safe workplace, including incident documentation and follow-up

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- At least 5 years of office or practice management experience, including 2 or more years in a supervisory role
- Strong operational, financial, and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and practice management software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Organized, resourceful, and adaptable with strong time-management skills
- Comfortable working around animals and standard veterinary clinic materials; ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Flexible scheduling to meet hospital needs
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Washington state credentials applicable to veterinary hospital administration (or ability to obtain); if clinically licensed, maintain active Washington licensure as required
