The Role
- Leads and develops all hospital support teams, fostering trust, accountability, and collaboration to meet operational and service goals.
- Recruits, hires, onboards, and trains administrative and technical support staff; manages new-hire documentation and orientation.
- Oversees scheduling for administrative and technical staff; coordinates coverage with the clinical team to maintain efficient workflow.
- Sets and manages labor targets; monitors timekeeping, missed punches, and overtime, and implements corrective actions as needed.
- Conducts timely performance reviews; provides coaching and feedback; addresses personnel matters and promotes a positive, solutions-focused culture.
- Manages daily operations, budget oversight, purchasing of equipment and supplies, and facility maintenance.
- Oversees inventory controls, charge capture processes, and accurate billing practices; maintains local accounting functions and daily financial accuracy.
- Processes vendor invoices and contractor payments; ensures proper documentation and W-9 collection from local vendors.
- Establishes and updates hospital policies and procedures to support compliance, safety, and quality standards.
- Partners with clinical leadership to maintain a high standard of patient care and client service; assists with client issue resolution when appropriate.
- Ensures compliance with required licenses, permits, and regulatory obligations.
- Works a primarily weekday schedule with flexibility for occasional weekends or holidays based on business needs.

Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or a related field preferred
- At least 5 years of office or practice management experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
- Demonstrated strength in budgeting, analytics, staffing, and workflow optimization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and practice-management software
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; proven customer service orientation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working around animals and typical veterinary practice materials; ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Flexibility to support occasional weekend or holiday coverage
- License to practice in Georgia (preferred for candidates with a clinical background; not required for this management role)
