Role Summary

An excellent opportunity is available for an Associate Veterinarian to join a highly regarded private small animal hospital in Panama City Beach, Florida.

The hospital provides a modern, high-specification environment with access to advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment, including ECG, ultrasound, and digital radiography. This enables the veterinary team to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care while maintaining a strong focus on patient welfare and clinical outcomes.

You'll work alongside a supportive team of Veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) in a practice where collaboration, professional development, and excellent standards of medicine are genuinely valued.

Key Duties

As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll contribute to a collaborative clinical team providing comprehensive care across a varied small animal caseload.

Responsibilities include:
•Performing a range of medical, surgical, and dental procedures appropriate to your experience and clinical interests.
•Conducting thorough examinations, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and managing cases through to completion.
•Maintaining consistently high standards of patient welfare, safety, and veterinary care.
•Using advanced diagnostic technology and modern hospital facilities to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
•Explaining diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and ongoing healthcare requirements clearly and compassionately to pet owners.
•Developing trusted, long-term relationships with clients while supporting the health and wellbeing of their pets.
•Collaborating with Veterinarians, LVTs, and the wider hospital team to maintain an efficient and positive working environment.
•Contributing to a culture centred on teamwork, professionalism, continuous learning, and excellent patient outcomes.
•Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

•Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
•Active Florida veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain one.
•Successful completion of the NAVLE.
