About the Practice

This full-service veterinary hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical and preventative care to pets throughout the Nantucket community.
The practice treats an unusually diverse patient population, providing care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and pocket pets. This creates an interesting clinical environment for veterinarians who enjoy variety or would like to develop their experience with exotic species.

You'll work alongside an experienced and compassionate veterinary support team within a collaborative environment where doctors are encouraged to discuss cases, develop their interests and build long-term relationships with clients.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time Veterinarian position offering a diverse caseload across general practice, medicine, diagnostics, surgery and dentistry.
You'll have the opportunity to follow patients throughout their lives, from preventative healthcare and routine appointments through to illness, diagnostics, treatment and ongoing medical management.

The role provides exposure across:

•Exotic animal medicine

•Client education and communication

Experience with exotic animals isn't essential for veterinarians primarily interested in companion animal medicine, while those who already have an exotic interest can benefit from the practice's established caseload.

The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on weekends and major holidays, providing a highly attractive schedule for veterinarians who value predictable working hours.
