Global Talent Partners is pleased to represent an established, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Bergen County, New Jersey, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its progressive and collaborative team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian looking for something a little different. Alongside traditional companion animal medicine, the hospital has a diverse caseload that includes cats, dogs, rabbits, pocket pets, avian patients and other ZooMED species, providing excellent variety for a clinician with broad interests.

The hospital also embraces both traditional and integrative medicine, including services such as acupuncture and homeopathy, creating an environment where veterinarians can explore different approaches to patient care.

The Opportunity

You'll join a team committed to providing high-quality, individualized medicine while maintaining strong relationships with clients and their pets.
The caseload includes:

•Dogs
•Cats
•Rabbits
•Pocket pets
•Avian patients
•ZooMED species

This diverse patient population makes the role particularly attractive to veterinarians who enjoy variety and want to maintain or expand their experience beyond conventional small animal practice.

You'll have the opportunity to manage preventative and medical cases while developing your own areas of clinical interest.

Traditional & Integrative Medicine

One of the hospital's distinguishing features is its approach to combining traditional veterinary medicine with integrative treatment options.

The team utilizes modalities including:

•Acupuncture
•Homeopathy
•Therapeutic laser
•Other integrative approaches where clinically appropriate

This provides an excellent environment for a veterinarian interested in expanding their knowledge of complementary and integrative medicine while continuing to practice evidence-informed conventional veterinary care.

Advanced Equipment & Diagnostics

The hospital is well equipped with a range of modern technology to support both routine and complex cases, including:

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working collaboratively within a team.

The ideal candidate will be:

A particular interest in exotic, ZooMED or integrative medicine would be welcomed, although it is not essential.

You'll need:

•Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution
•New Jersey veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one
•Commitment to practicing to a high professional and ethical standard

Schedule

This is a full-time position.

Current hospital hours are:

•Monday: 8:00am5:00pm
•Tuesday: 8:00am5:00pm
•Wednesday: 8:00am9:00pm
•Thursday: 8:00am5:00pm
•Friday: 8:00am5:00pm
•Saturday: 8:00am5:00pm
•Sunday: Closed

The schedule provides a consistent working week while allowing the team to provide extended coverage midweek.

Compensation & Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary of approximately $140,000$180,000, dependent on experience, skills and credentials.
