The Role
- Provide comprehensive patient exams, preventive care, and medical workups
- Perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry; manage daytime urgent care cases as appropriate
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, imaging, and laboratory resources to guide treatment plans
- Communicate clearly with clients to educate and build trust
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with a technician-driven team to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes
- Participate in daily case reviews and help refine hospital protocols and standards

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- License (or eligibility for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine in New York
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality, compassionate care
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- 1+ years of experience preferred; comfort with surgery and dentistry or a desire to develop these skills
