The Role
- Perform comprehensive exams, formulate diagnostic and treatment plans, and manage follow-up care
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients to guide decisions and ensure understanding
- Conduct diagnostics and perform general surgery and dentistry with a focus on quality and safety
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with the Hospital Manager and clinical team to prioritize workflow and enhance efficiency
- Help refine hospital protocols from intake through discharge to maintain high standards of care
- Monitor hospitalized cases and participate in rounds to support continuity and case outcomes
- Engage in ongoing training and practice improvement initiatives

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Current California veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical fundamentals; proficiency in general surgery and dentistry preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills; team-oriented mindset
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred; mentorship available for the right candidate
