The Role
- Provide high-quality preventive, medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs, cats, and small mammals
- Perform routine and advanced surgeries (soft tissue and orthopedic)
- Triage and manage urgent cases; stabilize patients using oxygen therapy, IV fluids, and monitoring
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and digital radiography; interpret results and create tailored treatment plans
- Lead and mentor technicians and assistants; uphold medical standards and clinical protocols
- Build strong client relationships through clear communication and follow-up care
- Participate in a shared schedule that supports urgent care availability

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent)
- License to practice in California (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused, compassionate approach
- Competence in general surgery and dentistry; comfort with urgent care is a plus
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds as needed
- Interest in small-mammal medicine welcomed; mentorship available
