The Role
- Provide emergency and urgent care for small animal patients during evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Perform triage, stabilization, and comprehensive case management including diagnostics, treatment planning, and client communication
- Utilize on-site imaging and in-house laboratory for timely decision-making
- Perform soft tissue emergency procedures and coordinate surgical care as appropriate
- Collaborate with referring primary care veterinarians to ensure continuity and clear discharge summaries
- Contribute to a positive, protocol-driven team culture and support the development of colleagues and support staff

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-focused approach
- Emergency experience preferred; motivated new graduates with a strong interest in emergency practice are welcome to apply
