The Role
- Provide high-quality small animal general practice care within a structured walk-in/appointment model.
- Lead comprehensive internal medicine workups and manage complex cases.
- Perform and interpret abdominal ultrasound; echocardiography experience welcomed.
- Deliver preventative care, client education, and thorough follow-up.
- Perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry; opportunities for orthopedic procedures if desired.
- Triage and stabilize urgent cases prior to referral when appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with a skilled technician team and maintain clear, complete medical records.
- Typical schedule built around four days per week with organized flow to support efficiency and patient care.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD (or equivalent)
- License to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina (or ability to obtain)
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Minimum 5 years of small animal clinical experience
- Proficiency in abdominal ultrasound and strong interest in internal medicine
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
