An established and growing small animal hospital in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its supportive and experienced team.

Build Your Role Around Your Interests

You'll have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from two highly experienced veterinarians, providing excellent mentorship across a broad range of small animal medicine.

Areas of expertise within the team include:
  • Advanced soft-tissue surgery
  • General small animal medicine
  • Urgent care
  • Advanced dentistry
  • Diagnostic imaging

Whether you enjoy consultations, preventative medicine, dentistry, surgery or diagnostics, there is flexibility to develop a caseload that matches your interests and experience.

Varied & Manageable Caseload

The hospital sees approximately 10-15 patients per day, providing a balanced and varied caseload consisting of:

  • Wellness and preventative care
  • Pre-booked consultations
  • Walk-in appointments
  • Internal medicine
  • Routine soft-tissue surgery
  • Dental procedures
  • Advanced dental cases
  • Diagnostic imaging

Access to ultrasound provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your diagnostic capabilities, with experienced colleagues available to support your learning.

The practice is also open to investing in additional equipment to support the successful veterinarian's clinical interests.

You'll work in a modern clinical environment featuring:

  • Digital body radiography
  • Ultrasound access
  • Dedicated surgical suite
  • Dental descaling equipment
  • Digital dental radiography access
  • In-house diagnostics
  • Digital medical records
  • Approximately 5 support colleagues per DVM

Predictable 2-Week Schedule

Enjoy a structured schedule designed to provide a strong work-life balance.

Week 1

4 midweek days
8:30 AM-6:00 PM
1-hour lunch

Week 2

4 midweek days
8:30 AM-6:00 PM
1-hour lunch
Saturday: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM

Alternate Saturdays required, with a weekday off during the week when you work Saturday.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Up to $150K base salary DOE
  • 20% monthly production
  • No negative accrual
  • $200K gross earnings achievable
  • 2 weeks PTO + paid holidays
  • $2,000 CE allowance
  • 4 additional days of CE PTO

  • A DVM/VMD licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
