The Role

• Provide high-quality care for dogs and cats across primary care and emergency cases in a 24/7 setting
• Perform comprehensive exams, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and manage in-hospital cases
• Utilize on-site diagnostics, surgical and dental suites, and in-house lab/pharmacy to drive efficient care
• Participate in surgery and dentistry as aligned with interests and experience
• Triage and stabilize urgent and emergency presentations with support from on-site teams
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, supporting informed decision-making
• Collaborate with experienced RVTs, assistants, and visiting specialists; mentorship available for new graduates
• Shifts may include overnights, swing shifts, and weekends

Requirements

• DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Eligible for and able to obtain a California veterinary license in good standing
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Commitment to high standards of medicine, teamwork, and client communication
• Comfort with a 24/7 hospital schedule; emergency experience is welcome but not required
