The Role
- Full-time position in a busy small-animal general practice
- Deliver preventive care, wellness exams, and vaccinations
- Perform routine soft-tissue surgeries (including spay/neuter)
- Provide dental cleanings and oral health care
- Order and interpret diagnostics, including in-clinic tests and imaging
- Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain comprehensive medical records
- Offer microchipping and discuss DNA testing as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with technicians and assistants to ensure high-quality care and efficiency
- Communicate clearly with pet owners to support education and a positive client experience
- Participate in a shared schedule that includes weekend coverage

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited program
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Rhode Island, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-first approach
- Comfort working in a fast-paced general practice with daytime and weekend hours
