The Role
- Provide high-quality, preventive-focused care for companion animals through wellness exams, vaccinations, and individualized treatment plans
- Perform general medical care, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgeries
- Utilize in-house diagnostic imaging and on-site lab resources to guide clinical decisions
- Communicate clearly with clients, educating them on diagnostics, treatments, and preventive care
- Partner closely with technicians and assistants to deliver efficient, team-based care
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital protocols and standards
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture and mentor team members as needed
- Full-time role with flexible scheduling and some weekend availability; part-time options may be considered

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in the State of New York
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license or eligibility preferred
- Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills
- Comfort with routine surgery and dentistry, and a commitment to preventive care
- Willingness to participate in a schedule that may include some Saturdays
