Client services such as drop-off appointments, medical grooming under veterinary supervision, microchipping, and canine DNA testing help the team deliver comprehensive, convenient care. The Role
- Part-time Veterinarian within a general practice setting
- Provide preventive and wellness care, vaccinations, and client education
- Perform dentistry and routine soft-tissue surgeries, with appropriate anesthesia and pain management
- Manage in-house diagnostics and imaging, interpret results, and develop treatment plans
- Oversee inpatient and outpatient care, including hospitalization when indicated
- Conduct orthopedic evaluations and address common musculoskeletal conditions
- Offer behavior assessments and practical guidance for clients
- Utilize on-site and online pharmacy resources for efficient case flow
- Support client services including drop-off appointments, supervised medical grooming, microchipping, and DNA testing options
- Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff to maintain high standards in medical records, safety, and patient care
- Contribute to a positive, learning-focused culture and uphold best practices

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent
- Current Idaho veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility) as required
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong communication, teamwork, and client-service skills
- Comfort practicing in a fast-paced, community-facing environment
