The Role
- Part-time small-animal general practice position with a focus on preventive care
- Perform examinations, vaccinations, and client education to promote lifelong pet health
- Provide dentistry (prophylaxis, radiography-assisted case management when indicated)
- Conduct routine soft-tissue surgeries, including spay/neuter, and minor procedures
- Utilize in-clinic diagnostics and radiology for efficient case workups
- Collaborate closely with LVTs, veterinary assistants, and client service teams
- Communicate clearly with clients and maintain accurate medical records
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and fast-paced retail-embedded clinic culture
- Participate in a shared weekend/holiday rotation aligned with clinic hours

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Alabama
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility) as required
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Comfort working in a dynamic, client-facing retail-clinic environment
- Commitment to high standards of preventive care and patient safety
