The Role
- Full-time position in a busy small-animal general practice
- Provide high-quality preventive care, client education, and individualized treatment plans
- Perform dentistry, including dental imaging, and routine soft-tissue surgery (spay/neuter)
- Utilize in-house lab testing and digital radiography for efficient case workups
- Manage outpatient and drop-off cases; ensure thorough pre- and post-operative care
- Collaborate closely with RVTs, veterinary assistants, and client service coordinators
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best-practice standards
- Participate in a schedule that includes extended and weekend hours
- Exercise sound medical judgment with strong support and resources

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration eligibility
- Strong communication, teamwork, and client-service skills
- Comfort with dentistry and routine soft-tissue surgery, or willingness to develop these skills
