The Hospital
This established, community-focused small-animal clinic provides daytime care in a modern, well-organized setting. The team includes veterinarians, credentialed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, client service coordinators, shift leads, and a practice manager who all collaborate to deliver efficient, compassionate care.
- Daytime clinical schedule, typically Monday to Saturday, supporting work-life balance
- Broad caseload spanning preventive care, general surgery, dentistry, behavior evaluations, orthopedic evaluation and treatment, and nutrition counseling
- On-site diagnostics including digital radiology, dental digital X-rays, and an in-house laboratory
- On-site pharmacy and support for convenient prescription fulfillment
- Additional client services such as drop-off appointments, microchipping, medical grooming under veterinary oversight, and end-of-life care
- A well-used community clinic with a long-standing client base and opportunities to build strong pet-owner relationships

The Role
- Part-time Veterinarian position within a busy daytime general practice
- Deliver high-quality preventive care, wellness exams, and client education
- Perform routine soft-tissue surgery (including spay/neuter) and dental procedures
- Utilize digital radiology, dental X-rays, and in-house lab testing to guide diagnostics and treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with credentialed technicians and client service teams to ensure efficient, compassionate care
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinic protocols and safety standards
- Contribute to case discussions, quality initiatives, and a positive team culture
- Typical clinic hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active Florida veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration eligibility for controlled substances
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to preventive medicine and client education
