The Role - Full-time position focused on small-animal general practice - Provide comprehensive preventive care, wellness exams, and client education - Diagnose and manage common medical conditions; develop treatment plans and follow-up care - Perform routine soft-tissue surgery, spay/neuter, and dentistry - Utilize digital radiology and in-house laboratory testing to guide same-visit decisions - Maintain accurate medical records and support a culture of safety and quality - Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and client service teams - Contribute to outstanding client experiences in a busy, community-facing setting - Schedule includes daytime shifts with some evenings and Saturday coverage
Requirements - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution - Active Maryland veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start - Eligibility to work in the United States - DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain) - Strong communication skills and a commitment to preventive care, teamwork, and client service - Comfortable practicing in a fast-paced environment with diverse clientele
