The Role
- Full-time small-animal veterinarian providing preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery.
- Perform diagnostics and develop treatment plans supported by in-house testing and digital imaging.
- Conduct dental procedures, including dental radiographs, with appropriate anesthesia and monitoring protocols.
- Build trusted client relationships through clear communication and education.
- Collaborate closely with registered veterinary technicians, assistants, and client service staff to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
- Maintain thorough medical records consistent with AAHA standards.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited institution.
- Current Iowa veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Eligibility for DEA registration as required.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong clinical communication skills and commitment to high-quality, preventive-focused care.
- Comfort with routine surgery and dentistry (new graduates with appropriate support are welcome to apply).
