The Role
- Provide high-quality preventive and wellness care, including exams, vaccinations, and microchipping
- Perform routine dentistry and soft-tissue surgeries (including spay/neuter), using established anesthesia and monitoring protocols
- Execute diagnostic testing and interpret results with support from on-site lab capabilities
- Develop tailored treatment plans and communicate clearly with pet owners about options and follow-up
- Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians, assistants, and client-service staff to deliver efficient, compassionate care
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital protocols and quality standards
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture and support knowledge sharing and mentorship as appropriate
- Part-time schedule with flexibility; participation in a weekend rotation may be required

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active Illinois veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration or eligibility, as applicable
- Strong interest in preventive care, dentistry, and routine surgery
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
