The Role
- Full-time Associate Veterinarian in a general practice setting with small-animal focus and the opportunity to see small mammals and reptiles
- Deliver comprehensive preventive care, wellness medicine, and client education
- Perform general surgery and dentistry, supported by digital dental X-rays
- Utilize in-house lab, digital radiography, and on-site pharmacy for efficient case management
- Collaborate closely with credentialed technicians, a practice manager, and shift leads to ensure high-quality, team-based care
- Support a client-friendly model that includes drop-off appointments and interpretation resources
- Contribute to a rotating schedule that includes weekend coverage aligned with hospital hours

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Confidence with general surgery and dentistry; interest in small mammal and reptile care is a plus
- Strong communicator committed to preventive medicine and collaborative teamwork
- Willingness to participate in a weekend rotation consistent with posted hours
