The Role
This part-time position focuses on high-quality, community-based small-animal care.
- Provide preventive and general medical care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, and client education
- Perform dental procedures and routine soft-tissue surgeries such as spay/neuter
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, laboratory services, and on-site imaging (X-rays) to guide case management
- Collaborate with technicians and paraprofessional support staff to deliver efficient, team-based care
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold best-practice safety and quality standards
- Contribute to a positive, supportive culture and continuous improvement of clinical workflows
- Participate in a predictable schedule aligned with retail-style operating hours, including a rotating weekend component

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain) preferred
