An established small-animal hospital in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is seeking a full-time Veterinarian, offering compensation up to $166,000. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality general medicine with strong support, modern tools, and a balanced schedule.

The Hospital

- Well-equipped for everyday medicine and surgery: digital radiography, in-house laboratory, dedicated dental area, a surgery suite for routine procedures, and an on-site pharmacy.
- Varied caseload spanning preventive care, comprehensive exams, vaccinations, dentistry, routine soft-tissue surgery (including spay/neuter), microchipping, dermatology and skin/coat care, nutrition counseling, behavior evaluations, drop-off appointments, and end-of-life care.
- Predictable daytime hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; Saturday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; closed Sundays.

The Role
- Full-time small-animal general practitioner role in a busy, client-centered setting.
- Deliver preventive care, wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery; manage drop-off appointments as needed.
- Utilize digital radiography and in-house lab testing to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
- Create and communicate individualized treatment plans; counsel on nutrition, behavior, and long-term wellness.
- Leverage and mentor technicians and assistants; contribute to a positive, team-first culture.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best practices in anesthesia, pain management, and patient safety.
- Daytime schedule with rotating Saturdays; Sundays closed.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Active Florida veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- DEA registration (or eligibility).
- Proficiency with general practice medicine, dentistry, and routine surgery.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and client education skills.
- Comfortable working in a clinic within a retail environment and maintaining a high standard of preventive-focused care.
