The Opportunity

As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll manage a varied companion animal caseload spanning preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery and dentistry.

Responsibilities will include:

•Providing comprehensive wellness and medical examinations
•Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
•Developing individualized treatment plans
•Utilizing digital radiography and ultrasound
•Performing routine soft tissue surgery
•Providing comprehensive dental care
•Exposure to orthopedic surgical cases
•Managing chronic and senior pet conditions
•Providing pain management and therapeutic laser treatment
•Educating clients on preventative healthcare and treatment options
•Maintaining accurate medical records
•Collaborating closely with technicians and fellow veterinarians
•Contributing to a positive, team-focused clinical culture

There is excellent scope to develop individual interests in areas such as surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, dentistry or pain management.

Requirements

•Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
•Florida veterinary license or eligibility to obtain
•Eligibility to work in the United States
•Strong general medicine and diagnostic skills
