The Role
- Oversee day-to-day hospital operations to ensure efficient workflow, excellent client service, and high-quality patient care.
- Lead people operations: recruit, onboard, schedule, train, coach, and manage performance for technicians, reception, and support teams.
- Build a positive, collaborative culture and champion new initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Manage financial operations: budgeting, P&L oversight, billing, accounts receivable, expense controls, and performance reporting with clear action plans.
- Elevate client experience: set service standards, guide client communications, and manage feedback and reviews promptly and professionally.
- Direct operational logistics: inventory control, appointment scheduling systems, facility and equipment maintenance, and policy/procedure updates.
- Drive marketing and community presence: oversee social media and website content; coordinate local events, promotions, and outreach.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations, OSHA requirements, workplace safety, and data confidentiality; maintain accurate records and databases.
- Optimize technology use: train staff on practice software and coordinate with IT resources to resolve issues.
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and technicians to align medical and administrative priorities.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of management experience, ideally in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated experience with P&L oversight and financial analysis.
- CVPM, CVBL, or a relevant bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Experience as a veterinary technician is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; ability to handle occasional physical tasks.
- Full-time availability with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend needs.
- License to practice in New Hampshire (or ability to obtain, as applicable to the role) and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Proficiency with practice management software and standard office tools.
