The Role
- Provide ambulatory/field care to sport, pleasure, and performance horses in the local area
- Perform lameness evaluations, dentistry, wellness and preventive care, and reproductive medicine services
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and imaging to support efficient case work-ups
- Communicate clearly with owners and trainers; develop and manage treatment plans
- Participate in a shared rotation for urgent or emergency equine coverage
- Maintain accurate medical records and deliver client education
- Operate a fully equipped vehicle for field appointments

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid driver license and acceptable driving record for ambulatory duties
- Strong communication skills and a client-centered approach
- Experience in equine ambulatory medicine preferred; mentorship available for early-career veterinarians
