The Role
- Deliver high-quality general practice and urgent care for companion animals, with optional exposure to some exotics and occasional large animals
- Perform wellness and sick-patient exams, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery
- Develop diagnostic and treatment plans; interpret in-house lab results, radiographs, and ultrasound findings
- Perform and monitor anesthesia per hospital protocols; ensure effective pain management and recovery
- Communicate clearly with clients, provide treatment options and estimates, and maintain thorough medical records
- Collaborate closely with technicians and client service teams; contribute to a positive, learning-focused culture
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold medical standards

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Active Florida veterinary license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical and communication skills; comfort in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Commitment to compassionate, individualized patient care
- Interest in seeing some exotics or occasional large animals is welcomed but not required
