The Role
- Provide primary and preventive care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, and senior care for dogs and cats
- Perform dentistry with dental imaging, and routine soft-tissue surgeries in a dedicated surgical suite
- Utilize in-house diagnostics (digital radiography, ultrasound, laboratory) to guide medical decision-making
- Apply established anesthesia and pain-management protocols for patient safety and comfort
- Communicate clearly with clients, present treatment plans, and support wellness-plan participation
- Collaborate closely with technicians, assistants, and client service teams to ensure efficient, high-quality care
- Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical workflows

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Maine (or eligibility to obtain)
- Authorization to work in the United States

- Strong team orientation; comfort with routine surgery and dentistry is preferred
