The Hospital

- Full-spectrum general practice: wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery
- Daytime urgent care during regular clinic hours to support patients with same-day needs
- On-site resources: in-house laboratory and pharmacy, surgical and dental suites, boarding/kennel areas, and accessibility features
- Diagnostics available in clinic: digital radiography (x-ray), ultrasound, ECG, routine bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal testing
- Operates five days per week with a supportive, efficient team of veterinarians, registered technicians, and client care staff

The Role
- Provide comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry as appropriate to experience and interest
- Utilize in-clinic diagnostics, including radiography, ultrasound, ECG, and laboratory testing
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients; provide education and follow-up
- Maintain accurate medical records and prescribe medications in line with protocols
- Support daytime urgent care during regular clinic hours
- Contribute to team efficiency, clinical protocols, and ongoing quality improvement
- Participate in rounds, case discussions, and continuing education
- Part-time schedule with Friday and Saturday availability preferred

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Current California veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills with a commitment to high-quality, compassionate care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed
