The Role
- Lead day-to-day operations to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and an outstanding client experience
- Recruit, onboard, schedule, and develop team members; coach performance and foster a positive, inclusive culture
- Manage financials, including budgeting, KPI tracking, P&L oversight, billing accuracy, and accounts receivable
- Oversee client service standards, review feedback, and implement service improvements
- Direct operational workflows: inventory control, facilities and equipment upkeep, and vendor relations
- Maintain and update SOPs to enhance efficiency, safety, and consistency
- Guide marketing and community outreach, including social media and local partnerships
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety protocols, and applicable veterinary regulations; uphold accurate, confidential record-keeping
- Champion effective use of practice software and coordinate with IT support as needed
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support teams to align goals and drive continuous improvement
- Full-time schedule with occasional evening or weekend coverage as needed

Requirements
- 3-5 years of management experience in a veterinary, healthcare, or multi-unit service environment preferred
- Proven financial acumen with experience in budgeting, KPI management, and P&L analysis
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to build trust and manage change
- Proficiency with practice management or similar business software and standard office applications
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Active New York professional licensure if applicable to the candidate’s background; not required for non-clinical management roles
