The Role
- Lead daily hospital operations to ensure high-quality patient care and an exceptional client experience
- Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and develop staff; foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable culture
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, billing, and accounts receivable
- Oversee client service standards; respond to feedback and maintain high review scores
- Direct operational workflows including inventory, maintenance, scheduling, and policy implementation
- Guide marketing, community outreach, and retention initiatives; manage website and social media content
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and workplace safety requirements, including OSHA standards and proper record-keeping
- Optimize practice technology and train teams on software utilization and best practices
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and department leads to set goals and deliver results
- Full-time position; some evening or weekend hours may be required

Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of management experience, ideally in a veterinary or healthcare environment
- Demonstrated skill in P&L oversight, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making
- Strong team leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution capabilities
- Proficiency with practice management systems and standard office software
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual ability is a plus
- Valid license to practice in Connecticut as applicable to role responsibilities
- Eligibility to work in the United States
