The Role
- Perform comprehensive lameness evaluations and diagnostic workups for sport and performance horses
- Utilize digital radiography, ultrasonography, and, where appropriate, nuclear imaging to inform treatment
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Provide regenerative and biologic therapies such as PRP and IRAP, as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and specialists on complex orthopedic and medical cases
- Split time between ambulatory and hospital-based appointments
- Share emergency and on-call coverage within a supportive team structure
- Communicate clearly and proactively with owners and referring veterinarians, maintaining accurate medical records

Requirements
- DVM or VMD (or equivalent) and eligibility for Illinois veterinary licensure
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Strong interest or experience in equine sports medicine and lameness
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and client service skills
- Valid driver license for ambulatory work
