Are you an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian looking for a part-time opportunity with the backing of a progressive veterinary organisation, while still enjoying the feel of a close-knit community hospital?
Global Talent Partners is working with an established companion animal practice on Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore that is seeking a veterinarian to join its dedicated team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys building long-term client relationships, delivering high-quality medicine, and working in a genuinely supportive environment where patient care comes first.
The hospital is a well-established, small community practice led by an experienced husband-and-wife leadership team, with one serving as the Medical Director and the other as Practice Manager. Due to the size of the hospital, every team member plays an important role, creating a collaborative atmosphere where your opinions and clinical input are genuinely valued. The position would suit a veterinarian who enjoys autonomy while still having access to the resources and support of a larger veterinary network.
The practice focuses exclusively on small animal medicine and offers a comprehensive range of services including preventative healthcare, wellness examinations, vaccinations, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, urgent care appointments and internal medicine workups. The hospital embraces Fear Free principles and low-stress handling techniques, helping to create a positive experience for both patients and their owners. Backed by a veterinary-led support organisation, you'll also benefit from modern technology, digital medical records, advanced diagnostic resources, continuing education support and mentorship opportunities.
Candidates should have previous small animal clinical experience and be confident performing routine surgeries and appointments independently. While this is a part-time opportunity, full-time hours could be available for candidates interested in splitting their time between this hospital and a nearby sister practice.
What you'll enjoy: • Part-time schedule with excellent work-life balance • Opportunity for additional hours across two nearby hospitals • Strong veterinary-led leadership and mentorship • No non-compete agreement • Modern equipment and ongoing investment in technology • Fear Free, low-stress approach to patient care • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package • Generous CE allowance and professional development support • Supportive, collaborative culture with clinical autonomy
